GDD Section: Story + Setting
Setting: The majority of the game takes place in a underground area like a sewer. Other areas include a hotel where the story starts as well as a lab where the game ends. These areas will not be playable but instead areas where cutscenes play.
Story: The main character(David) books into a hotel and is in his room. His bag is given to him by a nameless porter and they leaves. David opens his bag to reveal that instead of his belongings, there's a strange device/bracelet inside. David goes to find the porter to inform him of the mix-up and sees him entering a door. David follows the porter and ends up in an underground area. He is confused because there is seemly no way to progress in the room he is in when all of the sudden the device inside the bag begins to speak out. It turns out the device is a teleporter that can send the user short distances away. It asks David to use it to make his way through the underground and to find it's owner.
